My name is Zac Thraves; speaker, trainer and champion of people who are told they have depression.

The MI Experience is My Imagination workshop or 1-2-1 coaching sessions; designed to make your personal and professional life better, by encouraging you to use your imagination and challenge those mental health perceptions.

We will use movies, music and games to delve into our emotions and recognise triggers, while also building confidence and self-belief.

For businesses this can help to have a happier workforce and to increase productivity; it can also help deal with change.

For you, personally and professionally, it can give you a huge boost in your life, giving you control over choices and widening your options.

I live with depression and I learnt that the only thing that worked for me was coming to terms with who I am. It’s fine to feel bad, just as it is fine to feel good. It’s about finding balance in your life.

For years I have lived with depression and all it’s gory monsters. Living with this is really quite something, and I use my art to help me when times are bad, and when times are good. One of my books, available at Amazon, explains my journey from madness to a calm sort of living. I created The MI Experience after being led to mindfulness, and the program is a blending together of all the things I love. I know that arts can heal minds, and the experience is my way of coping with those dark and dangerous thoughts when they occur.

I have studied mindfulness, and have a diploma, but that is as far as it goes. All of this is my experience and how I am using my apparent disadvantage to achieve success. I’ve also got an MBA, but hey, who cares right?

We all have emotions; and that makes us beautiful.
